COVID-19 Safety Policies

Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, Wandaful Esthetics is taking extra precautions with the care of every client to include health history and enhanced sanitation and disinfection procedures in accordance with the Texas Department of State Health Services. 

BEFORE/DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT 

Please text me upon arrival and wait in your car until notified to enter the suite. This is to ensure optimal social distancing by not waiting in the lobby. Once you enter the suite there will be a sanitized bin for your belongings, and your temperature will be taken with a contactless, infrared thermometer. You will receive warm greetings, but there will be no unnecessary physical contact. You will be asked to wash your hands and sanitize before and after your service. Remember - you must wear a face mask at all times. Wandaful Esthetics will take extra sanitation precautions, including disinfecting all spa areas in between visits. 

PLEASE NOTE 

  • You MUST wear a surgical or N95 mask for the duration of your service. 

    • Because we will be in close contact for over an hour cloth masks / bandanas are not as effective and will NOT be permitted. For maximum protection, N95, surgical masks and/or any other FDA approved facial coverings are required.

    • This is non-negotiable and made primarily for our safety.

      Talking will be limited to reduce potential spread. 

  • We have made changes to our spa room to minimize touches, like removing shared blankets, reading materials, and refreshments. Please feel free to bring your own clean blanket!

  • To ensure safety while meeting service demand, we ask that you please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment, including children and pets. 

WHAT WE ARE DOING AT WANDAFUL ESTHETICS

  • Updated hours and staggered shift/start times to allow for low traffic in the reception areas and optimal cleaning time between clients.

  • Hands are washed before and after every client, before using phone, and sanitized throughout the appointment whenever touching trolley (products, etc.)

  • As was always our policy, lash artist will be wearing a mask for the duration of your appointment. 

  • As always, strict protocols are followed for cleaning tweezers and other equipment between each client, including full immersion in an industry-specific virucidal solution, for your safety. 

  • If you would like your lash artist to wear gloves, they will. Your lash artist at Wandaful Esthetics practices vigorous hand-washing, and hand sanitizing throughout the appointment, but will wear gloves upon request. 

  • Temperatures will be taken at each shift (using a contactless, infrared thermometer), and no one experiencing a fever/raised temperature or any symptoms will be permitted to work nor be serviced. 

  • Our premises are large and spacious and extremely well ventilated which naturally allow for social distancing wherever it’s possible. 

  • We have a vigorous cleaning/disinfection schedule in all salons, with high contact points being given special attention on top of daily cleaning.

    As I’m sure you expected, there have been some changes to ensure you are kept safe. Most of these are protocols, such as personal protective equipment worn by staff, staggered start times (to ensure minimal congregation of staff) as well as even more rigorous cleaning and disinfecting schedules for all salons.
